The Clockit Timecode App, developed by Lockit Network, presents a modular timecode toolbox specifically designed for Apple’s latest mobile devices running iOS 3.x and above, with full support for native iPad screen resolution.

The core host module offers a robust timecode reader that includes level metering and a native waveform analyzer. Unlike some competing solutions, this reader efficiently captures and displays timecode streams even in the presence of dropouts or variations in real time. This capability effectively transforms the iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad into a multifaceted production tool ideal for script logging and various timecode monitoring applications.

Additionally, the app is compatible with Ambient's wireless TC Link system, allowing for seamless timecode insertion through the 1/8" headset socket, which enhances cost-effectiveness and versatility in interfacing. Future module extensions are planned and will include features such as a freeze/log button, stopwatch functionality, Clockit ALL log tables, cue sheets for sound and continuity, as well as a native timecode generator.
